SSC Recruitment of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB 2012

Good news for those interested in jobs in the above mentioned branches of Indian Defence forces. Staff Selection Commission is inviting applications for the post of nearly 50,000 posts of Constable (GD) in BSF, an Indian Defense force. The full form of BSF is Border Security force who function is obvious from the name. The other vacancies include in the nearly 50,000 posts are from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Eligibility criteria for SSB recruitment in year 2012
To apply for any post through the SSB examination one has to pass matriculations i.e. 10th standard from a recognised Indian University/board and he must also be an Indian citizen.

To apply for post in Constables (GD) in Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, CISF, and SSB on must be at within the age bracket of 19-23 years as on 1st August, 2012.

Interested candidates need to send the form in the prescribed format on paper with a stamp from any counter of Indian postal services (post offices). The stamp must be "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" which is a Rs.50 stamp.

Applications are to be sent to the Regional/Sub Regional Office of the Commission under which the center selected by the candidate to give the exam lies in. The address where the applications are to be sent can be found in the "format" given by the authorities or can be asked from the Post Office itself.

Otherwise candidates can also submit the applications online for SSC Recruitment of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB, 2012 through the website http://ssconline.nic.in/

Those opting for the online method must pay the charges through Challan or through net banking.

Basically all candidates must pass four criteria to get selected which are:

1. Physical Standards Test
2. Physical Endurance Test
3. Medical check-up
4. Written Examination
